Update/Where I've Been/New Blog

Just a quick little post to update where I've been, for those that might be wondering. I am in university now, and I'm crazy busy! Between moving, getting situated in my room and keeping up with class, I've been quite occupied at the moment. I've also had some major issues trying to get pictures up in my posts because something was/is wrong with my blogger iphone app :( I can try to take pictures in other ways, but I can't guarantee anything.

All this being said, I have created a new blog to document my adventures in university, and the url is whiteblankpaper.wordpress.com. I highly recommend checking it out at the very least, because I'm posting about once or twice a week and I think it's a pretty interesting read (though I'm a little biased). Wordpress is also a great site for blogs.

But I am, for the most part, back now! Leave any requests in the comments, but know that I'm sort of unable to buy any new products as of right now so reviews are sort of out of the question.

Nail of the Day - 08/17/12

I've been absent from my blog for a while but I have a few posts planned, so I thought to kick off my return to the blogging world I'd show you all a nail of the day.

The polish in question is Essie's Bikini So Teeny from their summer line, and I searched everywhere to try and find this. It actually was sold out almost everywhere.

Bikini So Teeny is a beautiful cornflower blue colour with a hint of silver shimmer to it, but for the most part it is a creme finish. The picture below shows the polish more true to colour than any of the others - and as you can see, it is almost more of a purple-blue colour.

This polish was opaque in 1-2 coats, which was incredibly impressive, particularly for Essie.

I picked this up from Rexall for about $8 and it's safe to say I am officially an Essie convert. I would definitely recommend checking out some of their collections, because some of the colours I've seen are truly unique and beautiful.

Update: Why I've Been Away.

I thought I would quickly explain just how much I've been up to as well as share a few pictures I happened to have on my phone from my travels :)

I regret not blogging at all for so long, because I love it a lot. Last night I realized just how neglected this blog was, so I revamped it a little - new URL, new name, new banner... But I do feel I should share where I've been.

In addition to my normal school workload, I've taken on quite a few other projects. I'm in the pit band for the spring musical at my school (Beauty and the Beast), I started taking flute lessons and have been practicing like there's no tomorrow, and I've had a few photoshoots along the way. :)

A week ago I took a short trip to Victoria to check out the university -a lot of the pictures included are from that. I've also been busy eating, spending time with my family, and reading (which I haven't done in a while).

I'm glad to be back! I definitely missed blogging and I got my break, so look forward to lots more posts to come.
